My scanned documents with eConnector aren’t searchable. What should I do? How can I make it so that I can select and edit the text?

Setup can be configured under ‘Scan Settings’ > ‘Format’ > Select ‘PDF’ or ‘Multi-Page PDF;

Click on theIcon > enable ‘Searchable PDF’ > select the ‘OCR Language’ from the dropdown list.

If scanning to local folder, go to “Save to ‘Folder’ > Click Icon ‘Application’ > select ‘ABBYY FineReader 12 Sprint’ > select the OCR ‘Language’ from the dropdown list > select final ‘Export Format’. (Note: scanned images must be in .tif or .jpg format)
